The Conseil scolaire Centre-Nord (CSCN) is happy to announce that it will implement a bus tracking system starting this school year in collaboration with an Albertan technology company ez enRoute. Our goal is to make school transportation safer.

The transportation service tested the bus tracking system in 2021-2022. The successful results of the pilot project and positive feedback from families convinced CSCN to offer the full bus tracking system for all families in 2022-2023.

All buses will be equipped with the bus tracking system via GPS as of September 01 2022. It will allow the Transportation service to improve the operations and anticipate delays.

You will find below an overview of the system as well as the benefits for your family.

Is it free of charge for your family?

The participation in the bus tracking system is free of charge for participating families.

How does the bus tracking system work?

You will have access to the application ez Parent via Android or IOs devices (Apple devices).

Connection to the application :

Please note that if your login information (email or phone number) has changed, you must ensure that the board’s transportation service and the school(s) have been advised so that your login information for the application can be updated.

When the route is running, the parent will receive the notifications (bus is approaching the bus stop; arrival of the bus at the stop etc.).

The Transportation service is working in tight collaboration with ez enRoute, the bus contactors and the schools on the smooth running of the bus tracking system.

Please contact ez enRoute customer support for any questions regarding access or using the application.
