Admission criteria
Your child must be 5 years of age by December 31st of their kindergarten school year to be registered.
Francophone schools welcome students who are eligible for French-language education in accordance with Section 23 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the Education Act and school board policies.
A student is eligible to receive instruction in French if they meet at least one of the following conditions:
- French is the first language learned and still understood by one of their parents
- At least one parent has received their elementary education in French in Canada*
- A brother/or sister has received or is receiving primary or secondary education in French first language in Canada*
* This is instruction in schools where French is taught as a first language, not as a second language (as taught in French immersion schools).
How to register
Student registrations are processed online.
It is strongly recommended that all new enrollments be done online through PowerSchool Enrollment. A hard copy of the registration form is available at the school's administration office for those who are unable to complete the online form.
PowerSchool Enrollment is a secure system that allows the Conseil scolaire Centre-Nord (CSCN) to efficiently verify each child's information before the start of the new school year.
New Registration
A new registration form should be completed if a student:
· has never been to one of the CSCN’s school:
· is entering kindergarten for the first time:

Returning students or change of school within the Conseil scolaire Centre-Nord
Students who are currently enrolled in a CSCN school and who will remain in the same school or who will be enrolling in another CSCN school will receive an invitation to renew their registration in the spring of the current year.
